In this message Holy Spirit will teach us about PRIORITIES:

Your wife and you have many more modem electrical appliances in your home and more money to spend than your parents had when you were growing up. With all of these modern conveniences, are you more happy today than you were as a child and teenager?

ME: There are some ways in which I am happier today than when I was a child and teenager, and there are some ways in which I was happier when I was growing up, but in a general way, I think I am about as happy today as I was when I was a child and teenager.

HOLY SPIRIT: Why do you think this evaluation is true?

ME: My parents were not rich people. My daddy was suffering from Asthma and in those days there was no medicinal cure and so he suffered much. Later when he died we were all in our teenage and none of us were working as we were in our schools. After finishing our 10th standard we took up jobs to run our family.

After I became born again we had enough food to eat, clean clothes to wear, and a comfortable place to sleep at night. Basically, we were a happy family though we all had to do a lot of hard work to run the house. I think what happened is that I learned that though one needs a certain amount of money for comfortable survival, it is not the material things of life that are the basis of happiness. I learned that my relationship with Our Father/Christ Our Lord/Holy Spirit and my relationship with my family were the real basis of a happy life.

ME: My relationship with Our Father/Christ Our Lord/Holy Spirit and my relationship with my family still have priority in my life.

This communication is about priorities. Holy Spirit is going to communicate about a basic priority that is necessary for the One Accord Experience to happen.

HOLY SPIRIT: This communication is based upon a miracle that happened through the ministries of Apostles Peter and John. They were involved in the One Accord Experience when the First General Church Council of Christ Your Lord’s Church met, and also in the One Accord Experience on the Day of Pentecost. Do you recall an important miracle that took place in the ministry of these two apostles?

ME: I recall the record of the miracle in the Scriptures very well. It is recorded in Acts Chapter 3. One day as the two apostles were going to the Temple for one of the daily prayer times, a man about forty years old who had been lame from birth, asked them for some alms. This is the answer that Apostle Peter gave to the man that day:

Act 3:6 – But Peter said, SILVER AND GOLD HAVE I NONE, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk!

HOLY SPIRIT: The only means of support that the forty year old lame man had was to go to the Temple, receive what food he could from the Temple, and beg for alms. It should be noted why the two apostles did not have any silver or gold to give to the man. This was after these early Pentecostal Christians began to have all things in common so that they could feed the poor people among the Born Again Christians.

Act 2:44 – And all who believed were together and had all things common.

Act 2:45 – And they sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to all, according as anyone had need.

It was important for the apostles to be good examples so Apostles Peter and John had sold all their possessions and brought them to the COMMON STOREHOUSE. This left them in a position where their total hope for helping the man was based upon Me (HS) moving through them in such a way as to bring healing to the man. The priority of the two apostles was for Me (HS) to move with My (HS) power through their lives, and thus they did not have any priority upon silver or gold.

THIS IS AN IMPORTANT PRIORITY for Born Again Christians to consider if they desire the One Accord Experience. If present day apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers desire to have the One Accord Experience in their Churches, it is important to follow the example of priority in the ministry of Apostles Peter and John.

In preparation for this report Holy Spirit wants us to go through the following Scriptures:

Luke 10:7 – And remain in the same house, eating and drinking the things shared by them; for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Do not move from house to house.

1 Timothy 5:18 – For the Scripture says, “You shall not muzzle the ox treading out grain,” and, “The laborer is worthy of his reward.”

HOLY SPIRIT: There are some today who teach and preach that those doing ministry for Christ Your Lord have a right to be as prosperous as any other worker in your society. The word for reward in these verses is as much about Heavenly reward as it is earthly rewards. Actually, My (HS) concern for these verses being in the Bible is more about Heavenly rewards than earthly rewards

Also, My (HS) desire is that those doing ministry be more concerned about helping people than they are in receiving earthly rewards.

Ephesians 1:18 – The eyes of your understanding being enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of His calling, and what is the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints.

HOLY SPIRIT: The HIGHEST REWARD OR BLESSING OF OUR FATHER’S GRACE IS HAPPINESS IN HEAVEN. The One Accord Experience can happen to a group of Born Again Christians who are more concerned about being happy in Heaven, in leading other people to Christ Your Lord so they can be happy in Heaven, than they are about silver and gold.

Acts 20:32 – And now, brothers, I commend you to God, and to the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up and to give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

HOLY SPIRIT: Another priority for a group of Born Again Christians desiring the One Accord Experience is to give more priority to living the holy life than to silver and gold. A holy life contributes more to one’s happiness than does silver and gold.
