The comic books and money are both printed on paper, but one makes people laugh and the other makes them cry. The actual paper that money is printed on is not much different from the stuff used to manufacture other paper items. In reality, money only has value because people agree to view it as valuable. The world’s system of trade is based on money, and everyone has to use it to survive.

Do you know that one of the best things about Heaven is that you do not need money to “purchase” things, everything is free, because it is “given”. Heaven is not boring at all. It really makes sense that if we were made in God’s image, the earth would be made in Heaven’s image. There are many amusements in heaven.

God wants you to succeed

God designed you for success. He made you to be a winner. This is true for every person, regardless of what has happened in the past. God has never destined anybody to live a mediocre life.

Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

This verse says that God knows His thoughts towards you, and His desire is to give you an expected end. That end is promised in the Word of God. You can walk in victory. God is no respecter of persons. What we have today is superior to what Moses had in the Old Testament. We can be guaranteed success. Now, I’m not saying success can always be achieved without a fight or without effort, but we were destined for greater things.

What is true success?

God created every one of us to be something special, but I also feel that we live in a culture that has totally misrepresented true success.

The dictionary defines success as gaining of fame or prosperity is not a godly definition of success at all. Lots of people have fame and prosperity, but they do not have true success. Success is not just doing something grand or big. Then what about those who work behind the scene/stage. What about the missionaries who for the gospel sake have left their home rented a shack, ate rice, slept on the floor, were persecuted, were killed and lived poor to make everyone rich. They never came up on TV, were never known, yet God knows them, but they are still a big part of what we’re doing. We need all of these people to help us be good stewards of what God has given us. Their jobs may not seem as significant as others, but they are being faithful in what God has called them to do. That’s what I call a success.

Matthew 25:23 – His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant!’

Do you see how God made the body that we live. Each member has different roles to play as God has ordained it in the body, for the sake of the body. The unseen ones are as important as the seen ones. If one unseen tissue or vein is damaged the whole body may become paralyzed. When one receives the honor all the members of the body receive honor. For example when the ring is worn on the finger it is an honor for the entire body.

God judges things differently than we do:

1 Samuel 16:7 – For man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.

Many people look amazing on the outside, but in their hearts, they’re miserable—they don’t have joy or peace and certainly don’t have success.

In a world that believes the only reason for prosperity is to buy bigger cars and finer houses, a new Church is rising up. These believers are not deceived by greed. They know God’s purposes for prosperity. These believers know God wants to bless His people so they can be a blessing. They know He gives us power to get wealth, so He may establish His covenant (Deuteronomy 8:18) and so we “may have to give to him that needs (Ephesians 4:28).

All wealth comes from God. And He is the One who has given you the power to get wealth. The bottom line is this: You are blessed to be a blessing (giver).

Silver, gold and all the wealth of the Earth are His. For too long the forces of Satan have controlled those resources, using them to drag men into darkness. Now it’s time for the Church to learn what true wealth really is, tap in to the riches that spring from the Word instead of the world, and enjoy living as givers in spreading the gospel throughout the earth

HOLY SPIRIT: Though financial prosperity may bless you as a human being, but any financial prosperity you have DOES NOTHING for your spirit light being living in your physical bodies.

But the spiritual qualities of prosperity that you receive strengthen the angels around you because they are spirit beings, but any financial prosperity you have does nothing for your spirit light being and Angels.

Prosperity: Is it a blessing or is it a curse?

The answer should be obvious. But oddly enough, in the minds of many people, it’s not. The reason is simple. Satan has spent years trying to con¬fuse the issue. And, for the most part, he has been successful.

He has frightened people into believing there’s something inherently evil about money. He has promoted poverty by spreading lies.

  • He says: Poverty is noble.
  • He says: Poverty will make you more pious.
  • He has said: Poverty is God’s way of teaching you a lesson.

Many have wrong thinking about money

Jesus told Kenneth Hagin, “You see, the devil can run a night club, and he and his crowd don’t mind spending thousands of dollars to put up an electric sign to let everyone know what it is. But if somebody puts up a nice sign for the church, there are people who will object to that. The devil’s got them hoodwinked. How come the devil and his crowd have most of the silver and gold since the Lord made it for Adam? Did you ever wonder about that?”

The Lord said, “The silver and gold are not all here for the devil and his crowd. I made it all for My man Adam, but then he committed high treason against Me.” Adam sold out! Adam committed treason. He surrendered it all to Satan.”

Luke 4:5-8 – And the devil, taking him [Jesus] up into an high mountain, showed unto him ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD in a moment of time. And the devil said unto him, All this power [authority] will I give thee, and the glory of them: FOR THAT IS DELIVERED UNTO ME; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore will worship me, all shall be thine. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shall worship the Lord thy God, and him only shall thou serve.

When the Lord created Adam, Adam was in one sense the god of this world because God created the world and the fullness thereof and turned it over to him (Genesis 1:26,28). But we read in Second Corinthians 4:4 that Satan is the god of this world. Well, Satan wasn’t the god of this world to begin with. So how did he become the god of this world? Because Adam committed treason and sold out to him. Now Adam didn’t have a moral right to disobey God and sell out to Satan, but he had a legal right to do it.

Notice Luke 4:6-7. We know Adam turned his dominion over to Satan because Satan said to Jesus, “… All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: FOR THAT IS DELIVERED UNTO ME; and to whomsoever I will I give it. If thou therefore will worship me, all shall be thine.”

Someone said, “Well, that wasn’t even Satan’s to give.” But if it wasn’t Satan’s to give, then it wouldn’t have been any temptation to Jesus. And if it wasn’t a temptation, then why does the Bible say He was tempted (Luke 4:2)? It’s ridiculous to think Jesus wasn’t actually tempted by the devil. Although we know that Jesus is deity, we must also realize that in His humanity, He was tempted (Heb. 4:15). Satan showed Jesus all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time and said to Him, “All this authority will I give Thee and the glory of it, for it is delivered unto me.” Who delivered it to him? Adam did!

How many have been taken in by Satan’s deceptions? Millions.

In fact, in some way, those lies have affected all of us. That’s why it’s so important for us to go back to the Word of God and find out what He has to say about the subject. Because until we do, we’ll never be completely free to prosper.

The influence of money in people’s lives is very real, so it isn’t surprising that Jesus taught on the subject of finances more than on any other single topic. He taught more about managing resources than He did on prayer or even faith, which tells us that the topic of money, and how we handle it, is very important.

I know that money is a sore subject that a lot of us avoid, but learning how God views finances is basic Christianity. Jesus said that if we cant be faithful in our finances, then we can’t be trusted with anything!

Not surprisingly, what the Bible has to say about financial stewardship is different from most of what we will hear from business sources. Many are teaching the church to do business the world’s way. God doesn’t operate by this world’s system, and its more important for us to understand how God’s financial system works. Money is not the ROOT of spirituality, it’s the FRUIT of spirituality. When “how to make money/how to do business” is taught in the church, then we will see that LOVE for money will become the root of all evil.

I know there are abuses in the body of Christ regarding money where some Christians on television network have used pure manipulation and hype which is totally wrong. I am not saying that to be critical of other ministers, but we have to acknowledge that dishonest practices are sometimes used. But, the body of Christ is so uninformed in the area of finances that people fall for manipulation tactics all the time. Somebody says, “Send me a thousand dollars and your prayers will be answered,” and people send, but the kingdom of God does not operate that way. GOD’S FAVORS CAN’T BE BOUGHT!

So, yes there are abuses in the body of Christ regarding money, BUT DON’T MISS OUT ON BENEFITING from the truths in God’s Word about finances, just because some people are abusing the topic.

I encourage you to set aside any past offences you might have suffered and allow the word of God to reveal finances to you from a godly perspective. Hear the right word because you are going to believe or put your faith on what you hear. Believing is like receiving. Receiving is like opening the door of your heart. If you believe wrong you will receive wrong & you will live wrong. There is POWER in right believing!

Finances are important and you will be amazed at how letting God into your finances can bring peace and healing in other areas of your life – because how you view money affects a lot more than just your bank balance.

I will not be teaching you how to manage your budget but I will be teaching you how God views finance and once you get a revelation on the scriptural truths related to finances you will be better off in spite of natural obstacles. This will work for anyone – whether you are a student, married, unmarried, working or doing business. You will have a totally different attitude towards money. Instead of being dominated and controlled by money, you will begin to see that money is your servant. Money will become a tool you use in life, instead of a master that rules over you. Too many Christians are slaves to money. They work at jobs they don’t like and do things they don’t want to do just to make ends meet. God has a better way for you to live.

Many have presented the message of finance in a wrong way. Giving is often presented as something people have to do in order to MAKE God bless them. God blesses His people because Christ made them righteous, not because of their works.

When you donate to this ministry, you are changing lives through the messages that Pastor Paul Silway is sharing free on different platforms. God will surely bless you! We appreciate your help and generosity. I pray a special blessing over all who give for this ministry.
